李嘉珏，1965年北京林学院园林植物研究生毕业。甘肃省省级林业科技部门研究员。曾任北京林业大学博士生导师。主要从事园林植物及花卉园艺、黄土高原造林及果树栽培等方面的研究工作。并任中国花卉协会牡丹芍药分会副会长，从事牡丹研究工作40余年。现为洛阳大学特聘教授。主要著作有：《临夏牡丹》、《中国牡丹品种图志》、《中国牡丹与芍药》、《中国牡丹全书》、《黄土高原造林学》等18部。曾获国家级科技进步二等奖，省部级科技进步二等奖等，享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴。
