王湘云，文学博士。山东大学翻译学院院长、教授，博士生导师；山东大学外国语学院教授、博士生导师。主要研究方向为第二语言习得与第二语言教学，另外，对英美文学亦有广泛的涉猎。所讲授的“英语国家文化”课程先后被评选为山东大学、山东省和重量精品课程。
