方国荣，1951年生于上海。1969年赴“黑龙江生产建设兵团”上山下乡，返城后曾当过记者、编辑。1988年加入中国作家协会，1989年入学南京大学中文系。1978年开始儿童文学创作，作品有小说《如意镜》，童话《万胞胎学校》等；全国获奖作品有《失去旋律的琴声》、《彩色的梦》等。新千年来，主要从事少儿读物编写。主编的少儿读物有《自然百科探秘》、《地球村动物邻詹》、《开心文库》、《中华文明五千年》、《天才是怎样炼成的》等。
李海燕，2007年南京师范大学新闻系毕业，曾任《高考》杂志编辑，以少儿读物策划和写作见长，编写的少儿读物有《天才是怎样炼成的》、《青少年地理百科博监》等。
