滕继萌北京外国语大学英语学院美国研究中心副教授，中美历史研究学会会员，主要研究方向为美国历史与文化。1991年至今主要担任本科以及美国研究专业硕士研究生教学工作，讲授美国社会运动史、流行文化批评与实践、20世纪美国流行音乐史、文化研究、美国社会与文化、当代中国电影等课程。1997年伊始，以访问学者身份赴美国耶鲁大学、纽约大学以及香港大学等多所国内外学术和教学单位研修。主要出版物包括：《音乐创造的美国--英美流行音乐撷英》（编著，1996），《欧美流行音乐指南》（编著，1999），《英语国家社会文化入门》（编著，2002），《风云变换的美中关系》（译著，1998），《韦氏美语辞典》（编著，2006），《像~块滚石：试论鲍勃·迪伦的诗歌艺术》（《外国文学》1996年第23期）、《9·1 1后美国抗议音乐的发展走向》（《变化与延续：
