创刊于2015年，由国际关系学院主办，是中国第一本安全研究的英文学术辑刊，是《国际安全研究》（2018年入选《中国人文社科学期刊AMI综合评价报告》A刊核心期刊） 英文版，每年中文版先出版，后出英文版，每年两本（夏季号、冬季号）。International Security Studies主要刊发国家安全与国际安全研究领域的最新前沿研究成果，其发展目标是以最高学术标准建设中国最为权威的英文安全研究学术期刊。本刊刊发的论文涉及当代安全理论、战略和政策议题，鼓励多样性的研究视角和学术观点，同时也强调理论研究和政策实践的结合。
