本书从“概念”、“态度”和“篇章”三个层面来研究“把”字句在现代汉语语篇中的意义及其在英语语篇中的表达形式。研究的基本路径是“提出假设-实证研究-得出结论”。主要结论包括:1)“概念”层面上,各种类型的“把”字句形成了一个表达致使情境的连续统;英语中可以表达致使义的句式很好多样,其中很常见的句式包括SVO、SVOA以及SVOC。2)“态度”层面上,“把”字句体现为一种评价资源,主要用来放大说话者的态度;在英语中这种语用功能可以通过”直接评价词汇”,“态度突显词汇”及“很好规句型”等手段来实现。3)“篇章”层面上,“把”字句中的主语是主要话题,宾语是次要话题。二者在语篇中多为链中话题,有承上启下的衔接作用。此外,本研究还通过发掘“把”字句表达致使义的认知语义特征,来解释其意义的独特性。

   王蕾,女,1982年生,现于上海海事大学外国语学院任教。讲师,硕士生导师,上海海事大学第十一批骨干教师培养对象,上海海事大学英汉对比与应用研究所研究员。2010年毕业于上海交通大学外国语学院,获外国语言学及应用语言学博士学位。研究兴趣包括英汉对比与翻译、语言类型学、语篇分析等。已在《外语教学与研究》、《中国语文》等学术期刊上发表论文数篇,曾多次赴美国、中国香港、台湾地区地区地区参加语言学靠前会议,并宣读论文。目前主持上海市哲学社会科学规划青年课题一项。
